The current leader of the Giro d'Italia , 29, remains loyal to the American team with whom he made his World Tour debut in 2017, when it was still called Trek-Segafredo. "The decision to stay with Lidl-Trek until the end of my career was an easy one. This team has become a second family," said the 2019 world champion, who has had a remarkable season so far, in a statement.
